RCN Metro Optical Networks respects the privacy concerns of visitors to the RCN Metro Optical Networks Website (“Site”). Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and RCN Metro Optical Networks does not sell such information to others. IP Addresses
IP addresses are automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are on-line. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address.

RCN Metro Optical Networks collects IP addresses for the purpose of system administration, to report aggregate information, and to audit the use of the Site. When guests request pages from our Site, our servers log the guests' IP address. We do not normally link the IP address to anything personally identifiable, which means that a user's session will be logged but the user remains anonymous to us. We can and will use IP addresses to identify a user when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our Terms of Use or to protect our service, Site, customers, or others.

Some services within the Site may display IP addresses along with the message poster's name and message. Please review each service prior to use and only use those that disclose information you are comfortable with sharing.

Personal Information
In general, you can visit RCN Metro Optical Networks on the Internet without telling us who you are and without giving any personal information about yourself. There are times, however, when RCN Metro Optical Networks or our partners many need information from you.

You may choose to give us personal information in a variety of situations.
