| RCN Metro Optical Networks Provides An Assist to B4 Productions
Herndon, VA – July 8, 2008 – RCN Metro Optical Networks today announced that it provided crucial IP connectivity to B4 Productions for its annual Fourth of July Concert on Boston’s Charles River Esplanade. This connectivity was the foundation of the communications hub that allowed not only B4 Productions, but all of the agencies involved in this event to monitor conditions including weather and crowd control as well as allowed the teams to keep in constant contact with their operations centers.“We knew that RCN would be the only provider that could give us what we needed in time. They were originally intended to be our backup plan for next year but circumstances arose where we needed them now. Not only did they step up to the plate, they delivered. They fortunately were our first and last call. When we called RCN Metro for this network connection, they had it up and working within a matter of hours.
