Herndon, VA – November 11, 2008 – RCN Metro Optical Networks, a division of RCN Corporation (NASDAQ: RCNI) and a premier provider of fiber optic-based network solutions, announced today that it is providing Liberty Resources, Inc., a non-profit organization that advocates and promotes independent living for persons with disabilities, Ethernet connectivity to support their continued growth.

Liberty Resources needed increased bandwidth capacity to support their clients as well as meet their technology requirements. RCN Metro recommended Ethernet, not only because it was best suited to support their application and current needs but that the service could seamlessly and quickly be scaled to fit Liberty’s growing requirements.
